But if I’ve done something wrong, feel free to call me Christopher – it’s what my family does!
A brief history of my life
Persuasion started at a young age. From 16, I entered debating competitions across the country, reaching national finals.
At 18, all my friends left to go to university...but despite the protestations of my teachers, I had other ideas. I started a leaflet distribution business and helped local businesses get their message heard.
A couple of years later, I started working as a negotiator for a couple of large financial companies. My task? To write emails, SMS, letters and take phone calls that persuade people to work with us and pay up!
I went backpacking all across Southeast Asia for 100 days, exploring Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, The Philippines and Malaysia before returning to the U.K.
When I returned, I wanted to have the freedom to be able to travel whenever I wanted, so I went freelance. I transitioned into copywriting, and quickly became attracted to the world of SaaS.
Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work with many SaaS companies, working behind the scenes to discover what it is that actually works, and what is a waste of your time.
